This restaurant prides themselves on having premium grade cheeses, fresh dough and an “authentic old world sauce.” Their amazing hand tossed deck oven pizzas can be complemented with delicious garlic knots! The restaurant says they have developed a cult following just for the garlic knots alone, or you can also enjoy pasta dishes and subs. Also, a favorite among kids is their ice cream bar! They are open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
3. Anthony’s Pizza and Pasta: For a great atmosphere and a place to eat pizza, play pool or even video games, this is your place. You can get the New York style pizza you love, or a thick Sicilian crust, with a variety of toppings! You can order pizza by the slice, or full or half sizes great for a few people or groups. Not in the mood for pizza? They have you covered. There are pasta dishes and hero sandwiches, salads, sides and desserts. Beer and wine is also available. With many locations, stop by the one close to Denver University at 1628 E. Evans Ave. from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
