In the fourth quarter of 2016, Hilltop East average housing prices have almost made a come back to their 2007 home value. With 20 homes sold in this quarter at an average price of $896,848, it is easy to see that this neighborhood is considered one of the pricer in the Denver zip code.
Located near what once was part of the Buckley Airforce Base, bordering Severn Ave, E. Alameda Ave. and Holly Street divides East Hilltop from West Hilltop. Denver's Hilltop East was developed during the nineteen-forties and nineteen-fifties. Many of the homes in this area split-level and made out of brick, on medium sized lots. Many developers took advantage of the real-estate boom in Denver in the 1990's and practiced lot-splitting, changing the architecture and elegnace of the neighborhood. Â Â
